Note
Charles Tinkler did not have the Shelbourn name because he was born prior to the marraige of his parents George and Emma. He was 3 years old before his parents married.
My Grandfather, Robert George brother of Charles told me that Charles emmigrated to West Summerland, Vancouver Canada in 1913 and the family did not have direct contact with him again.
When Emma Shelbourn (nee Tinkler) died her legitimate children decided to share her estate with their brother Charles and he was contacted via lawyers.
He received his inheritance but did not contact the family.
Robert George died not knowing anymore about Charles. CW 22.01.05

Charles year of birth was stated as 1891 (should have been 1889) and his occupation farming. He travelled on ticket number 8 as did Frank Cleveland, 19 Farmer and H. Locket, 28 Farmer. None of the three were accompanied by a spouse.
I can find no relationship between the three (eg: a Lincolnshire connection) but surmise they may have worked together at some stage.

Family
I have not been able to locate a marriage record for Charles nor any Tinkler births but the British Columbia records are only available up to 1903 - well before Charles' arrival in Canada.
