From the obituary of Jane Berryman nee Pellew
24 Apr. 1918, page 2
"Obituary. Jane Berryman, widow of the late Richard Berryman died 18 April at her residence in Kooringa aged 95. She is survived by three sons, five daughters, 35 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
The late Mrs Jane Berryman was born at St Boeague Cornwall, 7 August 1822, the youngest daughter of Mr & Mrs Thomas Pellew. Soon after her marriage the couple left England in the Peakingham and landed in SA 22 March 1849, coming directly to Burra. After a time Mr Berryman took up land at Springbank where they lived until his death in 1895."

Richard married Jane PELLEW, daughter of Thomas PELLEW and Unknown, on 22 Feb 1848 in Breage, Cornwall. (Jane PELLEW was born on 7 Aug 1822 in St Boeague, Cornwall and died on 18 Apr 1918 in Kooringa, South Australia.)
