DOLBY, Ethel May
- Born: 29 Apr 1888, Purley, Surrey, England
General Notes:
Note Ethel May emigrated to Australia and made her home in Melbourne. Ethel owned an Ansonia, enamelled iron mantle clock which she gave to Gladys Shelbourn (nee Burton) before she died. The clock was made around the time of the olympic games and is decorated with a torches and laurel wreaths. It appears in a 1904 catalogue and was model 1027 - Brantford. The clock remains in the family and still works well.
