Note William James Gribble was 24 years and 1 month old when he enlisted in 9th Australian Light Horse Regiment. His occupation listed as "Farmer", residence Bow Hill. William enlisted on 27 October 1914 and shipped out 11 Feb 1915 from Melbourne at 5.00pm. He was killed at "Walker's Ridge", Galipoli on 22 June 1915. To date I have not been able to determine the cause of William's death. The day he died members of his regiment died from shell fire (2), rifle fire (1), influenza (4) and diahorea (3).
