Kathleen Minogue's first partner/husband was Alfred Wright, father of Alfred Neville and her second husband Ewald Koop, father of Marie.
Research to date appears to point to her not having married Alfred Wright although in the death notice of her brother William Neville Minogue appearing in the "Barrier Miner Newspaper (Broken Hill) she is recorded as Mrs A. Wright, Sydney.
Kathleen was extremely secretive regarding her family and early life. She always said she was an "only child' and that her parents were killed when she was young leaving her to be raised by "Aunts", however this has proved to be not so.
She was the 5th of 8 children born to James Minogue (County Clare, Ireland) and Bridget Neville.
I suspect her secrecy (even naming her brother Patrick as her father at the time of her marriage to Ewald Koop) was because of her earlier relationship with Alfred Wright.
I have found a death record for Alfred Walter Wright at Semaphore 1927 just 6 months before Alfred Neville was born - I think this is possibly the death of his father but need to do further research.

Kathleen next married Ewald William Charles KOOP, son of Henry Frederick KOOP and Unknown, on 20 Nov 1937 in Methodist Manse, Blackwood, South Australia. (Ewald William Charles KOOP was born circa 1884 in Not Known.)

The record of Kathleen's father is incorrect.
Kathleen's birth record shows her father as James Minogue and mother Bridget Neville. This fits with the naming of her only son Alfred Neville.
Concealling her father's identity may have been intentional on Kathleen's part, in order to remain anoymous. To date I can find no record to indicate she married Alfred Neville's father and was "Single" at the time of her marriage to Ewald Koop. CW - 11 Feb 2007
