James married Bridget NEVILLE, daughter of Lawrence NEVILLE and Mary MEAGHER, 31st October 1892 in St Arnaud, Victoria. (Bridget NEVILLE was born on 1 Feb 1871 in Maryborough, Victoria, died on 6 Mar 1939 in Broken Hill & Districts Hospital and was buried on 7 Mar 1939 in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Broken Hill.)

The marriage was celebrated on 31st August 1892 and was witnessed by a Patrick Minogue and Margaret Neville.
At the time of their marriage James Minogue was a "Licenced Victualler" as was Bridget's father Lawrence Neville. Bridget's mother was Mary Meagher.
James was the son of James Minogue and Bridget Mason of County Clare, Ireland.
