Note Research of Kevin Parker "Frank Burton was born around 1868-1869 at Worcester(Ref 1871 Grantham Census). It is beleived that his mother Emma had a sister who married a farmer at Worcester." (explaining Franks birth at Worcester - CW). "Frank had a public house at Harlaxton and then at Ponton, Lincolnshire. Frank married Minnie Musson. They had 4 children - Tom, Eric, Edie and one other unknown. He died on the 7th July 1936, aged 68 and is buried at Harlaxton with his wife Minnie (died 21st October 1946 aged 77) (Refer Headstone Harlaxton) (It is believed that at some time they lived at Barrowby)"

Photos The display photo is a post card of the Blue Horse Inn at Great Ponton. The reverse of the photo is a post card, post stamped 29 Aug 1932 on a red one penny stamp, addressed to Miss Burton, 61A Pretoria Road, Bordesley Green, Birmingham. The message reads: "My Dearest Hazel. How are you getting on. do hope you are a good girl and help auntie. Len is in Skegness, hope it keeps fine for him, Stella was here the other day and she does miss you, now dear girl you have a good time best love Mother and Dad" I have a second post card sent to Hazel at the same address showing an older man on a motor cycle in fron of a house. As well as a message to Hazel from her parents the name Harlaxton written in pencil.
Frank married Minnie MUSSON, daughter of Thomas MUSSON and Mary GIBSON. (Minnie MUSSON was born circa 1870 in Barrowby, Lincolnshire, England and died on 21 Oct 1946 in Harlaxton, Lincolnshire, England.)
