"The friends of Mr JOHN T WALKER are respectfully informed that the Remains of his late WIFE (Mary) will be removed from his residence, Bohm terrace, 68 Archer street, North Adelaide, THIS DAY at 3.00pm., for interment in the West terrace Cemetery.

"Obituary. Mary Walker, wife of John Thomas Walker died suddenly at Archer St North Adelaide on 6 February of paralysis of the brain. She was 41 and leaves a husband and nine children. [Page 3 adds that she was the wife of a respected townsman now residing in Adelaide.] [Born Mary Eddy 12 June 1851.]"

Mary married John Thomas WALKER, son of William WALKER and Isabella (Mary) OTTER, on 20 Aug 1872 in Res of Mrs Eddy, Wistow Dist Mt Barker. (John Thomas WALKER was born on 11 Mar 1848 in UK, died on 14 Jul 1925 in North Adelaide South Australia and was buried on 16 Jul 1925 in West Terrace Cemetery.)

The entry from the "Marriages" page of the family bible of William and Isabella Walker reads:
" John Thomas Walker & Mary Eddy was married at my house near Redhill 1881".
It appears William Walker may have recorded this entry after the event. John T & Mary were married in 1872 at Wistow. CW May 2007.
